Sorry for confusing, i have been fishing my hole life most of the time fresh water. I have gone salt water fishing with my dad he had a boat for over 20 years, but I never went for stripers so i just started with surf casting. I was not looking for sympathy I was just venting about how life can suck. Don't tell me about how others have it worse because I have one child in the grave at 3 months old one in a wheelchair, a wife with epilepsy and i have had 19 sugeries from ear surgery leaving me deaf in my right ear to brain surgery twice.
