Deep Water Stripers
I fished a tournament in NH yesterday. I asked one of the guys that placed where he caught his fish. He replied that it was a deep water fish, caught about 9 miles out just south of the Merrimack. I would guess he was somewhere around Halfway Hump. First, this was a catch and release tournament, so the procedure is catch, measure, snap the picture, release. Is that legal past the 3 mile limit? How would you guess he was fishing in water 100 to 200 feet deep to catch that 44" cow?
