I wore the coonskin hat everywhere i went as a little tyke
thinking that Halloween was short lived (in those days)
i had my own route of houses i'd visit and i'd sing one verse
of Davy Crocket for a cookie... i was cute and had lotsa cookies
enough to pay other kids to do stuff -lol
