Another great performance by Furthur.
Really cool scene last night with three generations of deadheads traipsing around the place. Lots of folks were revisiting their lost youth..
I actually ran into a couple real old friends I hadn't seen in almost 20 years, guys I attended a bunch of dead shows with back in the mid/late 80's.
The band really laid it down with a funky, jazzy setlist (Aiko Aiko opener) which was unlike the Orpheum show that featured a much more raw, powerful, and old school vibe.
Highlights for me were kick ass versions of "Hard to Handle", "Estimated Prophet" followed by "Scarlet>Fire".
Definitely a winner. Can't wait to see them again.
