Jimmy, Reid is opposing the Boehner bill because after all this BS we've been through the past few months would require the country to go through it all over again with another vote very soon. It's highly unlikely that the country will balance the budget in just a few years time regardless of who's in charge.

This is stupid.

So far, Reid has caved on tax increases and agreed to some substantial cuts with the promise of more cuts after the debt commission findings. This is called compromise...He and Boehner need to find some common ground...and a lot of Republicans would take something very close to Reid's plan...but the Tea Party is tripping everything up with their intolerant position by denying Boehner a vote.

Hint: they're the party of NO.
