using bait at nite you should have some sort of light on your rod to watch....they make battery powered ones for your rod for about ten bucks or you can pick up a package of lunker lights and tape em on ....for about a buck a piece. this will help you see strikes in the dark......unless of course youve been staring at them all nite and you are dead tired ....then you start to hallucinate and you swear its movin when its not!!! HA!HA!
