It's a pretty long haul from the cod grounds to p-town, but sounds like a fun day.

If you've got a sea anchor bring it, slowing down the drift without using the motor is better.

you've got to be on the bottom, be ready to use 24 oz or more, it takes a long time to get to the bottom and w/ the drift it all adds up. I've had luck using a high/lo rig with a big weight on the bottom and two teasers (rubber freshwater bass lures like grubs, crawfish ect... work great)

If you get on fish and the bite stops run your drift again.

Good luck, try and catch a turning tide if you can, and don't be surprised if a blue shark takes your catch while reeling up, there are lots of them up there.
