I don't know, but his earlier 61 and very high 50 aren't in the total for TS, and he's not listed as affiliated for those fish in the Angler of the Year standings.
Let's say, best case scenario, he decided to throw in with TS before he caught the record. It still sets a bad precedent. This isn't pro sports, where teams can trade up to a trade deadline. It allows for a team that's lagging in the standings to actively recruit. If someone can be unaffiliated and join a team in mid-tournament, what's to stop someone from switching teams? Or other teams from raiding other rosters for the last big push?
