It is officially dropped!

Quote:
The House of Representatives has removed the Salt Water License tax from this year s appropriations Bill in today's session.

To all the RISAA members who called and wrote the Governor, the General Assembly and anybody else they could think. To the bait shops owners and other shops for getting 3000 names to the speaker of the house in 24 hours and the guys that drove around the state to deliver the petitions and drove back the next day to pick em up, to every recreational fisherman, club member or not who took the time to raise a ruckus:

THANK YOU FOR A TERRIFIC JOB

And finally, a big thanks too RISAA President, Steve Medeiros who spent more time on his cell phone than any man should ever have too and dropped those 3000 names on Speaker Murphy's desk to show him we meant business.

You all did great work and I MUST congratulate the good work done buy the people from RISAA as they did the Lion's share and kicked some ass on this issue! Thanks to everyone that contact their legislative people to squash this!
