There were a few fish around after dark some nights but most of Aug was terrible with last week things were starting to shape up before the storm. I was told I suck and there's no fish here.. I just laugh at him because he's a fly guy and now he has an 11 footer and is still learning how to load the rod with a 3 0z plug.
3 days ago i got one at 0330 it took me a few cast but it wasn't no Dink. He kinda had a puzzled look on his face to see me unhooking a plastic lure stuck to a 20lbs of bass.
When these water temps cool off.... The bite's back on once the tides clean up after a few days.
