Specialist bring what ever you have . I still use an 8 ft ugly stick too. its all about what works for you personally and financially . Eels are real easy to deal with as John said . he gave you all the info needed . I hook them thru the bottom jaw and out one of the eyes . I fish painfully slow and keep my eels iced down . I have a 3 bucket system that works great , I can show you on saturday .
