I've been using dr slick Pisces pliers for the last 4 seasons, one pair will last two seasons of hard abuse, about 40 bucks. Throw the sheath and lanyard away and upgrade to a dragon tails or other lanyard and a commando or as elite plier sheath.
Great pliers for the money.
I swim with mine and they are always wet, I don't take the best care of my gear either so the fact I'm getting 2 seasons or more out of them is worth the price.
The Hansom pliers look great, might be my next pair.
