When they see what will undoubtedly be a significant drop in donations, during a significant drop in air time and we may have seen the last of this telethon, at least in it's successful version!
Oh, and you can't tell me the tv stations aren't thrilled that they will only lose 6 hours of mind-numbing advertising revenue time instead of 21? Yeah, like there was anything "new" showing on tv during this weekend?
Sadly to say, that without some REAL star power behind it, this telethon is seeing its last day(s).
Think of it! When you can't/won't get top name stars to volunteer their time to a good cause, how do you expect those that MAKE those donations to continue to do so?
