I think the rash of articles that have appeared in the press the last 2 days regarding Hillary's pro public image are the first steps to floating an alternative candidate. Remember she said she did not plan on being in the cabinet for Obama 2. If these stories get traction her people will make moves to try shore up some support of the major dems running for re-election. Biggest issue for her will be lack of fundraising but my guess is that this will be a stealth effort until she feels she has critical mass.
