GS, I was out sunday with the guy I usually charter with. Whenever we get somewhere and hook into a fish , we keep the rod down and the line tight, sometimes it works. I swear that the guys who don't know what they are doing hang out and scan with binoculars, and as soon as they see you have a fish, they swoop in. We were at one hump, chunking , and livelining macs. After we caught our third fish, we looked up to four other boats. We watched these people, and while we were catching left and right, they were getting squat. Some guys were way off the hump, which was small in the first place, and others were down current of it. One guy was with a girl in a small boat, he boated slowly over our lines, and stopped on top of them. At that point his companion picked up her rod and was getting ready to fish, we yelled over to them. So he motors over and says , "oh I did'nt realize your lines were out there". Then he says , "we were'nt gonna fish there". Well the guy I was with had it at this point. We packed it in and moved to another location. One guy actually backed his boat up about 100yds when he saw we were leaving, you would of thought he was in a mall parking lot, just to get our space. It was really quite comical. About 15 minutes after we got to the next rip, some of the other boats from the last place showed up. All in all we had a good productive day fish wise. Now all I need is to get my own boat.
