Maui Jim's are great, I think they have a warranty so don't toss them until you check. If it helps ease the pain I broke my arra 1322 Thursday am after fishing an all nighter. Only a 12 pound blue untill daybreak then a 22# bass which I broke the rod landing
, that fish was good for the table though.
