There are a lot of legitimate MFA websites. One person that I have worked with in the past pulls in something ridiculous like 5 figures/month on his website and adsence is one of his main revenue sources. But his site is extremely good and provides value... in the end though, it's an MFA.
However, there are also a fair number of spam blogs that post scraped content that is relatively useless to the reader. Google has been pretty active in going after these. Google had a recent algorithm update nicknamed Panda that did a lot to correct spamsites and thin MFA sites.
