Update on Bill and a Big thanks you once Again!!!

Hi All, Just thought I would put an update out there for all of you as its been while. I have Been meaning to put up a post to update everybody, But I have been crazy lately trying to get everything wrapped up as we are headed to PA for 3 weeks soon to go down and visit my family and take out a few bambi's!!!

Bill is doing really good finally!!!, no more cane unless we go for long walks, he is still on TPN nutrition 12 hrs a day but hopefully next week that will be gone and it will be down to fluids for about 2-3 hours a day as he is eating really good as food is finally tasting better.

His ostemy output is finally down to a more manageable amount so hopefully when they take him off the TPN he will be down to one bag which would be awesome.

Over the past 2 weeks we have had many doctor appts and as far as they can see they all want to see him back in 3 months WOO HOO!!! No Sign of any more cancer at the moment and all they can do is monitor him anyway at this point so we are crossing our fingers there.

Have had not such good news with my dad, but he is hanging in there. He just had his 2nd month of in hospital chemo and it hit him pretty hard. Lost his hair and spent a lot of time talking with the tidy bowl man, and dealing with a lot of nausea. He has one more month of this round of chemo to go so hopefully it will get those new tumors in his lungs and he will get a break for a while.

The future for my dad is not looking good, but all we can do is pray that this chemo will take care of the tumors in his lungs and the other ones in his body will go into remission as he can no longer have any more radiation. But it will be great to finally get down to see him and mom and give them a hand for a while and do some hunting together!!!

Again Bill and I just want to thank all of you for all you have done for us. Your generosity has been overwhelming and it will definately go to good use as his short term disability ends next week and there is no long term.

All I can say is this site has one hell of alot of great people who are very passionate about fishing and very caring about each other. I hope at some point Bill and I can help pay it forward to someone else or be able to help here if needed. THANK YOU ALL!!!
