Haley's comet came in 1910, and the Sox had a couple Series titles in the early part of the cycle. But, it came back in 1986 (sorry, I know that year has bad karma), and we're what, 15 years into its next cycle? Law of averages aside, on a pro-rated basis, the Manilla Folders have bageled an entire Haley cycle. But look at the bright side, Haley's will be back in 2062

If I live to be 109, maybe I'll get a chance to see a Series banner flying over Fenway, which I'll bet will still be their home that year.

I think it's "skwet-teeg". Occasionally "skwet-taig". Sorta like "kwahahg" or "cohawg" depending on whether in Rhody or Green Hahbah.
