I hooked a duck in the wing once what an ordeal that was. I finaly got the stupid thing in and could not get the hook out so I cut my line and was walking aroung to pond trying to find someone with a pair of snips to cut the hook in half when the f@#$*N squirl police came walking up to me and told me I was under arest for potching. I had to walk back around the pond and talk with the 3 people I had asked for snips befor the dumb a$$ would belive me and let me go.
