You're lucky you live within walking distance. That was a fun ride home for us. And by fun, I mean the snow sucked and it took a long time.
My wife left for FL this morning and won't be back until tuesday and the son is at a sleepover tonight, so I'm going out with the guys to see my friends brothers band play. Tomorrow I have my sons basketball game, then home for a bit before taking him to his first lacrosse practice, then home to relax. Sunday I'll be hanging a couple more closet doors and then making nachos with the kid and going to the brother in laws house to watch the game.
