Yep - 'nuff said... And tell him you're a member here at S-B. Don't go to Sport's Authority. 97% of their rods suck and the 3% are hard to find even if you know what to look for. I can't speak for Eastman's and it's been a couple years since checking rods at Red Top but they didn't have anything decent then for the money you seek...

You may want to compare some with the more inexpensive custom sticks. Not sure what price range they start at but it might be worth the step up. What are you looking to do with the rod - plug?

Also, just get a 9 footer.
