I'm not a Bose hater at all but would agree there are better options. Bose does fill a niche for people who want simplicity and decent performance. There's a price premium for sure but there always is with well marketed brands. I love my Bose ear buds...

Well said about Bose. PM sent with my cell. I'm coming from an integration standpoint about BOSE and they have good stand alone solutions that do sound good. It's when you want to add more integration with other systems like lighting control, video sources, etc that it falls down with it propieitary wiring and controls.
