Spence if you're not looking for the latest greatest thing but want something that sounds decent I have the Sony Blu-ray dvd/theater system BDV-E370.Great for smaller areas(my living room is tiny!) and really does sound good for what you get.And its easy to setup...except it does not come with either an HDMI or Optical cable,I figured that out when I finally opened up the manual
