I made it Providence boat show this year... Not quite the same eh?

For some reason Florida understands fishermen. They just don't get it up here.

I am still blown away by the can-do spirit towards boaters/fishermen down there. You just don't see the interest towards fisherman here. My buddy has non-ethanol gasoline delivered to his boat in his backyard (at a good discount no less). Just try to have gasoline delivered to a boat in your backyard up here...no less even trying to get non-ethanol fuel.
On the way home from a late night dinner down there, we stopped by a GROCERY store to pick up chum for the next morning...it was 11:45pm. Are you kidding me? He says///oh yeah, everybody has chum... I say, You can't even BUY chum in season at most shops where we live! He says, yeah I never understood that.

I agree on the boat ramps...the parking lots are the sweetest things, plenty of easy parking for trucks with trailers and great ramps. Not like the crap we have to deal with here. I went for a few test drives while looking for boats down there, these ramps were awesome and very spacious. AND nearly every town HAS THEM! Also, people trailer 36'ers down there like it is a 13' whaler, piece of cake. I would be crappin my pants up here.

That 557 Hp ob would look nice on the back of your boat goose. Just think how fast you could get to your tog spots!

But the florida boat shows are great.
