I'd eat the cat then the catfood, assuming I had a way to make a fire. At least I'd know what I was eating when I ate the cat. That catfood - I'm not sure I want to know the sources of protein in that... although I guess properly cooked I wouldn't be as frightened of it.

There are some great cats out there (mostly because they are friendly and behave like dogs) but most of them kind of rub me the wrong way.

Peeing on things, scratching up cars and other valuables, leaving hairballs on the carpet, crapping in your shoes, taking a bite or swipe at you just for feeding it. Yeah. That's quite the pet.

I'd probably try a cooked cat just out of spite and I wouldn't have to be particularly hungry or in a survival situation to do so.
