4/15 is usually when the peas hit the dirt. Cover everything over every night thereafter. I have actually heated my pumpkin plants, which I haven't started yet. Buy some Coast of Maine compost if you don't have any ready to mix in with the loam. I have been adding those bails of woods chip/sawdust that you get from Agway every year to create more ariation (sic) IN EVERY RAISE BED. jUST ASK MY BUDDY DOWN the street about when it will be dry enough to be able to back up to the cow manure pile, two weeks.
