I have no issues with the electric reels just a pia with all the wires running around my boat. Always seem to step on the damn wires and pull the aligator clips when we hook up. Gona try both,just seems hard with the wires in the 23 foot boat. We tried a boat hook last year to get the kite up in the air worked great,again with the center console the enclosure/winshield block the wind and its sometimes tough getting the kite up the first 5-10 ft in the air. The boat hook worked great and was just sitting in my barn,gets the kite up 10 ft in the air. Yes Matt will be out for cod next week in my buddys 23t contender or Jeff Mottas red seacraft or my black one(decisions
