How many parents complained because their little "gem" wasn't mentioned, glorified, praised and immortalized?
I agree, it was a great speech, but unfortunately, it's becoming harder and harder to press these points home to gradusting students when they spend almost all of their developing years being flocked together with the rest of the politically corrected "sheep"!
Thrusting a sheltered youngster out into today's world without a firm foundation of learning AND experience is throwing the lamb to the wolves. Too many kids don't know half of what they SHOULD know and too much of what they should NEVER know.
I guess we'll all have to do what we can when the time comes.
