Remember that everyone grieves in their own way.
Some don't show it, some do. The best thing to keep in mind are all your fond memories, things she did to make you laugh, all those happy times. They will help make you strong, and get you through this trying time. Coming from an Irish background, when a friend or relative passed away we would have what was called a "mourning party" where everyone got to share their life experiences that they had with the deceased with others, and help to keep those memories alive.
There's nothing like a good strong shoulder to lean on.....even if it isn't yours!
