Not necessarily false, but inaccurate on the details. The tax still exists and there are a number of people that will pay the tax, but it's not something that will affect most Americans.

However, as someone that does have concerns regarding the "slippery slope" that our government continually takes advantage of, I have concerns that Obamacare won't come close to reducing costs and this tax (along with the other taxes implemented to help "pay" for Obamacare) will be termed insufficient. As such, there will be calls to find other ways of "offsetting" the expense, IE: an increase to capital gains tax.
