It's been a transitional year for me. I moved back to Mass after spending 3 years in San Francisco. While I learned how to trout fish and really concentrate on fly fishing while out west I also realized that we have it pretty good here in New England and I was so happy to come back. On my trip home I landed multiple large cutttroat trout in Yellowstone on dry flies and also float tubed the big horn river by myself catching lots of large browns and rainbows.
As far as bass. I ended up tying my PB fishing on the North Shore at a place I'd never been before. I had no intention of fishing too hard or at all that night hence the flip flops and sweat pants in the picture. I measured the fish at 43 inches with a 24 inch girth so prob a nudge over #30. Best part was releasing it back into the night. Over all a great year!
