Nokia Lumia 920!
There is a third horse in the mobile OS race... WP8. Since it's your first smartphone, you can throw away one of the arguments that I usually hear against it; that one doesn't want to have to get used to something new. You are not used to anything yet. It's a real solid phone (google Nokia drop test, try that with yer fruit fone...)
If you use your phone as your main fishing camera, well, let me just say there is no other camera like the one on the 920, especially in low light (ie. Fishing conditions). Don't be swayed just by specs, anything running Android needs all the processing power it can pack in to stand out the n the market. WP8 is cleaner and more efficient, and less of a strain on resources.
