Looking for a spinning rod to go with a VS150.

Will be used from a boat for the most part so I’m thinking a 1 piece 7’-8' tops. I have a good surf rod for it but need something for the boat that’s not as long and will cast decent. Would like something with some backbone for larger fish.

Any suggestions…………
