Sure miss the old days (before e-mails) when news reporters had a direct pulse on fishing conditions. Many would go out each week, tag along on a charter and get first hand information. That goes along with visiting bait shops, marina, dock, boat ramps, etc. in person and getting first hand reports and actually seeing the catch.
Now it's cut and paste information from someone elses sources you don't know how accurate or truthful the statements are.
