Still Here

I fished Thur-Sunday am, 20 plus hours of casting. 1st 3 days were schoolies and a few blues.
Sunday morning I was casting an Afterhours Danny that has seen a ton of use and abuse by bass, blues and rocks. I started getting small bass every few casts and considered switching to a plug with a single hook to avoid hurting the little guys. I took a few more casts and was tight to a nice fish in the wash. Then I lost 2 more bass and the action died. As soon as the sun hit the horizon, the wind started blowing like snot and it was impossible to maintain line control with plugs, tins and even bucktail jigs were hard to feel with the wind blowing the line like a sail.
I gave up at 10am and headed home to clean my fish.
Here is a pic of the bass and her belly contents.
I will be out a few eves this week.
Hopefully I can get a few more fish before the fat lady sings.

1 @ 32 Pledge. Our beloved Striped Bass are in trouble AGAIN.

I fished through the lean years and don't want to live through another collapse of the stock.

2 fish @ 28" is ridiculous.
