Been running with a friend of mine and he has me going on trails. About a month ago I turned my right ankle so bad my heel came out of my shoe (and I wear tight shoes). I thought I was done but I walked it off a little bit and although still in pain I was able to start running again and finish which was a good thing because we were out in the mddle of the woods. This guy is an accomplished runner and he said if the ankle was sprained before (which I did pretty badly 25 years ago) it heals faster, has anyone heard of this before?
