Shocked and truly saddened. He was and is the topic of many conversations.
One time I saw him in town and said hello at his truck. I then turned to the bed and saw an indescribable site to which I asked him "What is that" His reply slow and sure was ..."Art"
What did I see but apiece of a large tree sitting like a table to which were nailed probably a hundred duck feet. I still chuckle at that and it did have an artistic look that only he could pull off
