JC, if you have the regular town permit, I'd definitely give Eel pt some time. I saw alot of nice bass sight fishing the bars and flats to the north of the actual point. There were also often albies working up and down the same areas.

I hooked one and my dad got his first within a short cast from the point.

Smith Pt was inaccessible the last thing I heard. The erosion over the winter was really bad.

The guys that get fish over there fish the south shore alot. They find the bowls and bars at low tide and hit them at night. I don't work that hard at it when I'm over there cause its vacation and I like to rest and just relax.
