Dangerous lightning...torrential rain and wind gusts to 30 knots will pose a risk to any mariners. Some of these thunderstorms will move into Nantucket Island through 3 PM. This may cause localized street flooding...so motorists should use caution.

A warm front will lift north across the waters this afternoon. A cold
front is then expected to cross the waters tonight. High pres will
dominate the weather across the coastal waters through Mon. A
dissipating cold front may affect the waters from the north Sunday
night. High seas...including swells from Hurricane Fabian...will
reach the waters today and last through Saturday.
