I do that too...
I come in off hours mostly...like when shops are closed. Even with
one of the folding charts, I rarely fish spots listed, so there is
variance.
I was a bit naive initially to think some of these tide watches would
have more data or somehow be more useful. It doesn't seem to be
the case...still have to put the horse in front of the cart, but what
seems to be cool is that some of them once synced to a spot, can
continue predictions for up to ten years. Not sure if this is truly
accurate as it doesn't seem that many people use them.
