Met in Cotuit at 6am! Tagger, Rockport24 and myself......there were several vehicles there with empty kayak racks but nobody in sight?? Anyway the three of us were not liking the 5-10 mph wind (5-10 was forecast.......it was blowing more like 25 sustained!!!!
) so we decided to go to "Plan B"!!! We headed back up to Onset to Shell Point and launched from there in the more protected waters! Yakked all the way out to the railroad bridge/Mass Maritime! Nice morning to be out but alas....no fish! Good shake down run though and we welcomed a new "Yak Rat" to the fold in Rockport24/Matt! Our numbers are growing!!!
Always good to have a "Plan B" when doing a "Scramble".....never know when the forecast goes south and the wind is blowing 20-30! We always have a backup plan just in case......thus the "Scramble"!
