I've got some old squids that were called tin clads. They're lead plated with tin. Not sure how they did that, any electrochemists out there? Probably isn't difficult.

Melting point of lead is 621 degrees F
Melting point of tin is 450 degrees F
with clean lead I would think the tin would stick pretty well
