Good call Professor - I've got Sea Level's first album on vinyl which came out circa 1980 + or - I think it's pretty well worn, used to listen to it a lot -

Randall Bramlett I would assume is related to Delaney Bramlett of Delaney and Bonnie fame - Delaney died pretty recently if I remember right, another good band -

Here's Delaney & Bonnie & Friends - Delaney & Bonnie with the future Derek and the Dominos (Eric Clapton, Jim Gordon, Carl Radle, Bobby Whitlock) - Billy Preston and George Harrison, too:

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.
