A single mom has 2 kids and can only find a job at Walmart for $7.50 an hour.
Her apartment costs $800 per month, food is around $500 for her family. Gas to get to work is another $100.
Clothes, other necessities to live.. Another $100.
Let's round it to an even $2000 a month overhead.
If she worked 50 hours a week she's only at $1500.
