While I always like the sound of the old Pretenders my enthusiasm is tainted by the fact that Chrissy H. is a huge PETA/animal rights supporter. Never got any of my $$. Her latest incarnation of the band just got a not so glowing review.....aw..too bad. Guess she'll have to ..Go Back to Ohio! ;-)
A very overlooked artist with roots from this area..John Butcher. The 1st John Butcher Axis album (yes album) is a monster where JB shows a"polished" Hendrix like ability on the guitar coupled with great song writing talent.
