This whole thread, and your above examples concern states giving the business money. Should we be thanking Kraft for seeing a business opportunity, buying the Patriots, shaking things up and then utilizing the benefits of multiple championships to expand his business - just because it brings tax money and people from out-of-state here to spend money?

Kraft and the Patriots aren't going any where. This isn't like the 90s when he threatened to move the team to Connecticut because the state wouldn't give him enough money and the permitting required. He has anchored himself and the Pats in Foxboro now. Rodman is no longer the dominant empire on RT1, Kraft's Patriots Brand is.

I sticking with the idea that this is solely a business choice by Kraft to reduce his out of pocket costs on a per/game basis and displace those costs onto the state. This whole situation is Strictly Business.
