The bill isn't going to cost anything because it isn't law yet. Hopefully a collection of people with sense will prevent this.
Personally, I think the state lottery is essentially a voluntary tax on the stupid. I can't understand why anyone would pay to be at an 18,000,000 to 1 disadvantage. I'm curious though, how do you see it costing the MA State Lottery "alot of money"? Do you really think that many people will stop playing the MA Lottery to play online poker? If that's the case, I'd be curious how much the MA Lottery's revenue increased when the online poker restrictions were put in place.
