I'm glad that they are on the upside. I'm willing to be the Cash For Clunkers has a part in their "unexpected" increase in sales, especially considering that the Feds increased the amount of funds available for the program.

I said this from the start. I think the only reason Ford is in the position they are in is due to the hundreds of millions they make in sales to local, state and federal governments. Every town in my area uses strictly Ford vehicles, along with 90% of the State Police vehicles in New England.

With that kind of revolving door business, it would take some Enron execs to hold the company down.

On the other hand, I *do not* see a lot of people driving new Ford vehicles aside from trucks.
