Those old fighters had their day in the sun...modern 2 and 4 stroke engines are more efficient and are readily available .... it's most likely worth more to you than is will be to anyone else..it's nothing special... just an old reliable engine that's time has come and gone... treat it good and it will do the same to you... but on the open market.. I'd be surprised to see you get anything above scrap value... it's probably worth more as a parts engine if the lower unit and power head are solid.

A good run is better than a bad stand!
